You will immediately donate to the campaign for Immigration Reform AND send a letter to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reidi urging immediate approval of the Dream Act and Agjobs (which together would conditionally legalize between two and three million students and farmworkers)!

Textos Para Justicia is a new, innovating High tech program to fight for immigration reform now! By texting "ISupport Reform" or "Reforma" to 20222 on your cell phone, you will donate $10 or $5 to a fund to be shared by most conveners of the National Latino Congreso for advocacy activities in support of pro-immigrant justice bills in the Senate and House of Representatives. Your text will also trigger a letter sent on your behalf to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid urging immediate approval of AG Jobs and Dream Act in the Senate.

This program was authorized by the National Latino Congreso on Sunday, January 31, 2010, when the body approved Resolution 11.09, which the members of the Immigrant Justice Commission of the National Latino Congreso are working towards enacting.

Complete Program Details

1. A one-time donation of $10 or $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Messaging and Data Rates May Apply. 2. All $10 or $5 donations texted to 20222 are tax deductible, paid to the William C. Velasquez Institute (WCVI). I write to urge your immediate leadership in passing the Deam Act and AGJobs by Sept. 30, 2010. 12 million human beings are suffering total denial of human rights. America is better than that. You have the power to begin to alleviate their suffering with a “down payment” on immigration reform in the Senate w. Your party received 70% of the 10 million votes cast by Latino in November 2008. Your party promised to immediately deliver a complete legalization of the undocumented. Keep your promise. Restore our community’s faith in Congress by enacting AGJobs and Dream Act in the Senate before the end of Sept. Majority Leader is the time to enact AG Jobs and Dream Act!
